“Outside Objects”
My recent work, is composed of a combination of imagery and activity, that I have
been involved with for a long time. This imagery and activity includes woodworking, boating, construction, interior and exterior design, travel and meeting people. These outside objects have a lot in common with the piles of stuff that I see in yards on the back roads of south east Georgia. I see the “hillbilly heap”, tractors, boats, cars, grills, washing machines and stacks of objects for sale or just on display. This work is about sense and expression as well as arrangement and connection,
with some humor.
